For a unique journey, we have prepared a selection of local options for our guests. Enjoy fully you experience on the island of Kashirajima.
Bottom trawl fishing experience
Go on an adventure on the sea with the fishermen of Kashirajima island, harvest the bounty of the sea with the seagulls flying above the boat and the occasional finless porpoises that show the shining top of their heads.
Enjoy a memorable experience and become one with nature.
You can take home all the fish you catch.
You can also cook and eat at our hotel. If you’d like help to cook the fish, feel free to contact us. We can also cut it for fresh sashimi.

Island hopping boat tour
The Hinase Islands, which consist of 13 islands, are designated as a Japanese Heritage Site by the Genroku Breakwater (a port of call for Kitamae ships). You can enjoy learning about the unique history and folklore of each island along with the beautiful scenery of the Seto Inland Sea, accompanied by your captain's guide.
From autumn to winter, you may be able to see a phenomenon known as floating islands, where islands appear to float.

Soba noodle making experience
After watching the skilled hands of the soba makers,
You can actually experience making soba noodles.
Experience traditional Japanese techniques while making your own soba noodles.
The soba is served in Bizen ware, which brings out the flavor of the noodles even more.

Bizen pottery making experience
Bizen ware is one of the Six Ancient Kilns in Japan with a history of over 800 years. Its rugged and sturdy construction is delicate and made with meticulous handwork.
The color and texture change depending on the temperature, humidity, and the movements of flame, making each piece unique.
Please come and experience its history and depth.

Tsugaru shamisen and shakuhachi performance
Enjoy the beautiful melodies of the shamisen, a traditional Japanese instrument, in a private show.
With elegant tones and passionate performance, we will provide you with a wonderful, touching experience.
In addition to the shamisen, you can also enjoy shakuhachi and folk song singing.
